Accuracy (robot)
The closeness of agreement between a commanded pose and the mean of the poses the robot actually attains when approaching from the same direction. Accuracy is typically worse than repeatability because it absorbs kinematic model errors, joint compliance, and thermal effects, and it matters most for offline-programmed paths where positions come from CAD rather than teaching. Measurement conditions for pose accuracy are defined in ISO 9283.
