Hand guiding
Hand guiding is a collaborative operating method in which an operator moves the robot by applying force directly to a hand-guiding device at or near the end-effector, with the robot in a safety-rated reduced-speed state. It is commonly used for intuitive programming, where the operator physically leads the arm through positions instead of jogging it from a teach pendant. Outside of the guided motion, the robot must hold a safety-rated monitored stop before the operator enters the workspace.
